Friday Night Dinner
Got together with Liz, Sherry and Francis last night for a delicious dinner. Liz made quiche and roasted asparagus and Sherry and I were in charge of salad (we also splurged at Ralph’s and purchased a sheet cake).
The salad I found on Epicurious was a winner: Spinach Salad with Bosc Pears, Cranberries, Red Onion and Toasted Hazelnuts. We also added some goat cheese.
We made the dressing from the recipe and it was very simple (you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen already).
In addition to the Turkey sheet cake from Ralphs, Liz made fresh whipped cream with strawberries and blueberries. The four of us went back for seconds on all accounts and were all members of the clean plate club.
