Please reblog/spread the word on this one…
Homegirl Cafe
“Latina Flavors with a Contemporary Twist”.  A perfect description for the cafe that all hungry Angelenos should visit.  I went for breakfast and wish I brought my camera to capture my Revueltos (Scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms and spinach. Homegirl potatoes and toast). All of their bread is Homegirl made (you know how good it is if you’ve had a sausage at the Wurstkuche).
Why is it so important to visit Homegirl Cafe (besides the fact that the food is delicious)?  Proceeds from the Cafe are used to support Homeboy Industries.  Homeboy recently had to lay off 350 of its employees due to a funding shortage.  As the most successful gang intervention program in LA, we need to help out.  I plan on doing my part by eating.  Help out by spreading the word, donating, enjoying the delicious food at Homegirl Cafe or all of the above.
